C8 Science Panel Probable Link Findings

The Science Panel has determined that a probable link exists between C8 and the following 6 diseases:

1. Kidney Cancer
2. Testicular Cancer
3. Ulcerative Colitis
4. Thyroid Disease
5. Pregnancy Induced Hypertension (including preeclampsia)
6. Hypercholesterolemia

Persons who have, or subsequently acquire one of the six conditions listed above may have potential claims for compensation. (Note also that family members of deceased persons who had any of the listed conditions above may also be entitled to claim compensation.)

Persons who do not have one of the six conditions listed above, or do not subsequently acquire one of the six conditions listed above, do not have any personal injury claim for compensation under the C8 Class Action settlement in Wood County, West Virginia.
